Job description: Job Description:Role Purpose:To ensure the structural integrity and operational efficiency of network infrastructure and civil facilities by overseeing design reviews, preventive maintenance, and project implementation. To manage tender processes, cost evaluations, and budget planning while ensuring compliance with contract terms. To optimize facility operations and enhance service delivery through data analysis and strategic planning.Position Information

7 years of experienceKey Accountabilities

• Structural review of Tower, Mast, COW (Cell on Wheel), Building etc. as per the relevant design codes and ensure that the all the Loading, design parameters specified by Omantel are incorporated in structural design of network infrastructure.
• Periodic Inspection of all civil infrastructures (Exchange buildings, Data center, Offices and GSM sites, Tower, etc.) and carryout the necessary preventive maintenance works to enhance the life of civil infrastructure.
• Preparing the tender documents with detailed scope of work, Bill of quantity and specifications so that bidders will have clarity on the work for which they are submitting the price.
• Technical and commercial evaluation of tenders, cost estimation of works since he is well versed with prevailing market rates of materials, manpower, Plants, and machinery. This is an added advantage when evaluating the tenders, variations etc.
• Project planning and implementation to improve the services.
• Review of cost claims, Extension of time etc. submitted by bidders as per the clauses mentioned in standard condition of contract.
• Review of structural designs submitted by Helios to derive the load carrying capacity of tower i.e. EPA (Effective projected area) on tower which is directly influencing the rental charges of each site.
• Capex and Opex budget preparation with associated works such as Justifications,
• Having knowledge of the lease’s agreement process
• Having a background of the project management
• Checking and evaluating the data information related to facility operation & maintenance.
