Job description: Job DescriptionProduction TechnicianLooking for a different challenge as a Production Technician whereby you can still utilise your skills in a manufacturing environment?Permanent Full-time position with competitive renumeration and benefitsWork with a dedicated and welcoming teamUpskill and growth in an area your passionate about, whilst being fully supported and encouraged.Join a Trusted Global Leading Animal Health organisationThe primary responsibility of the Production Technician is to perform day to day operations in various areas within the manufacturing department, to ensure antigen and / or vaccine is produced to required standards to meet customer demand in global markets.The Production Technician sits within the Global Animal Health Manufacturing organization and reports to Production Manager.What you will do:Operating equipment in accordance with SOPs and GMP.Performing tasks and processes in accordance with SOPs.Documenting all tasks in batch records, worksheets or logs in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).Maintaining good housekeeping.Planning daily workload.Communicating clearly and in a timely way with other members of the Manufacturing Team and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of product, samples and documentation.Perform on-the-job training for other technicians in areas of expertise.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities include, however not limited to:Minimise Deviations in the Manufacture of Product by:Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with SOPs.Using knowledge of processes and problem-solving techniques to thoroughly investigate and determine root cause of deviations.Identifying Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) to eliminate further deviations occurring.Completing deviation reports in a timely manner.Implementing agreed Corrective and Preventative Actions within required timeframes.Documentation and PV ResponsibilitiesMaintain all documentation in accordance with Company and relevant quality standards.Review and update documentation, such as SOPs, batch records, worksheets, to ensure GMP standards continue to be met.Author or review assigned SOPs and documentation in required timeframes.Implement changes to production documents and or processes in accordance with agreed change proposals.What You Must haveExperience in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of GMPComputer Skills: Spreadsheet, Word, SAP (desirable)Good time management skillsExperience working with high standards of EHS.What you can expectWork autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted, leading Global Animal Health organisationExposure to upskill and develop in your roleJoining a collaborative team of likeminded individualsThis role requires heavy lifting and heavy physical workWe are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
