Your job will be to partner with Product Strategy, Product Management, and analogous analytics teams in exploring growth opportunities and determining the ROI of initiatives and product innovation related to Value Based Care (VBC). You will scope & communicate the impact of different product strategies for the organization; inform backlog prioritization through research & investigation; and build & monitor effective metrics and OKRs. You have a deep understanding of emerging trends in the U.S. healthcare systems related to VBC and the role that electronic health record (EHR) systems and health information technology (HIT) can play in advancing VBC. Most importantly, you are able to back emerging trends and opportunities with thorough data analysis that’s well vetted and accepted by diverse stakeholders.You are passionate about problem-solving and developing product strategies driving both near and long-term growth opportunities. You are experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize solutions utilizing athena and market data. You have a strong attention to detail and are highly organized. You distill complex datasets into reusable assets with self-service data visualization utilized for decision making & product proof-points. We believe we are strongest when we support each other, and that learning is always part of the job.Job ResponsibilitiesWork with the Product Strategy Analytics Senior Manager and Executive Director of Payer Product Market Strategy to lead cross-functional projects to develop product strategy for emerging product offerings, including scorecard metric development for measuring the success of VBC initiativesDevelop recommendations for product opportunities at a macro level to inform leadership decisions, with expertise in the business to articulate findings to various stakeholdersDetermine the value proposition and ROI for VBC incentives for both athena and our clientsStrategically set and communicate prioritization tradeoffs within analytics across the initiativeManage strong, collaborative relationships across strategy, product, service, and client teams with an ability to influence all levels of stakeholdersPull user, transaction, and other data from complex systems and format into self-service visuals to keep stakeholders informed of product opportunitiesDrive and execute plans for successful project completion including defining scope, milestones, and successful outcomesTypical QualificationsAbility to synthesize complex, high volume and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve business problemsAbility to drive inter-team collaboration in order to achieve business resultsDemonstrated ability to use a variety of tools, techniques, and processes to gather and report dataKnowledge of, and ability to use, strategies, techniques, and tools for effective communication of technical ideas to various audiencesAbility to collaborate across a range of audiences, both internal and external audiences, and across a range of cohortsAbility to provide sound rationale for recommendations to gain others’ support and commitmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong business acumenHealthcare or health information systems experience requiredEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree required; Degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in quantitative disciplines like Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems Management, or Data Engineering preferred5+ years professional experience, preferably including 3+ years of experience in data analytics, health informatics, and/or health actuarialStrong understanding of database technologies and ability to write code to gather data.
