We have three exciting opportunities available, each focused on a critical area: Shopping, Order Management & Disruption, and Offer Build & InventoryAs a Product Specialist in our Offer & Order Solutions team (part of Revenue Management), you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing our commercial systems, including but not limited to the PSS and ATPco. This department operates the infrastructure, systems, and airline partnerships needed to get our products out to customers. As an expert in your domain, you will manage the team that operates these systems on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they’re delivering value as efficiently as possible, driving continuous improvement, and help to shape the future of your domain as BA transitions to modern retailing technology.What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement the strategy and vision for your domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing domain-specific activities.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team for Next-generation Offer and Order Management to define and co-create our future technology and processes in your domain.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, ensuring performance meets established targets.
  • Manage supplier relationships, participating in governance and influencing roadmaps.
  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog, balancing commercial value and implementation effort.
  • Design and deliver solutions to support commercial initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Executives, fostering their development and succession planning.
  • Establish and document best practices, ensuring adherence and adoption.
  • Represent British Airways in industry forums, such as IATA working groups.
  • Oversee cost centres and budgets related to your domain.
  • Develop and manage Business Continuity Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with risk, audit, and security requirements.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

Your experience:

  • Deep subject matter expertise in your domain, coupled with good all-round knowledge of the airline technology ecosystem
  • Familiarity with airline revenue management and distribution techniques is desirable.
  • Experience working with airlines or technology providers to improve commercial and customer outcomes.
  • Knowledge of modern retailing and offer management capabilities is an advantage.
  • Experience in Agile teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships
