As a responsible asset manager, we actively invest for the long-term to help our clients, our people and the world to prosper.As a future Product Owner Securities Financing, you will report to our Head of Trading Technology and you will be part of the Core Technology team.You will contribute to the development of AXA IM’s Securities Financing activity through the deployment of new technological solutions. In order to do so, you will manage the design, development, and deployment of products to meet customer expectations, business objectives, and regulatory requirements, in line with the overall trajectory of the Technology department.DISCOVER your opportunityThe product owner is responsible for their products throughout their lifecycle. They are involved in analyzing needs, defining product features, communicating with the client and the development team, managing the budget, building, running, continuous improvement, and decommissioning. The product owner contributes to the development of the product vision and strategy.The product owner ensures that products and services are designed and deployed in compliance with AXA IM processes and standards (including Information Security processes) using the latest available technologies.Your role and responsibilities will notably include:
- Analyze and document existing services, engage with clients to understand needs, and propose relevant improvements/transformations to maximize added value and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management in defining the product vision and strategy.
- Define and develop new features by integrating the concept of MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in an Agile context.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners and Product Managers to improve dependency management.
- Manage developments handled by the squad and ensure that these developments are scalable.
- Build, manage, and communicate delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with AXA IM quality standards.
- Ensure the proper interoperability of Core applications. Special focus on the robustness of applications is required.
- Anticipate improvements to reduce technical quality issues and minimize/avoid incidents in production. Ensure prioritization of developments to align with evolving architecture standards.
- Ensure continuous skills development for support teams and ensure that any issues raised by level 1 and 2 support are analyzed, debugged, and corrected promptly.
QualificationsSHARE your unique expertiseWe Welcome Different Combinations Of Skills And Experiences.Master degree in Finance:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in finance, in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, ideally operating with a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Solid experience in the application and product development cycle.
- Successful experiences in asset management.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good knowledge of financial markets and asset management, ideally in Securities Financing (Repo and Loans).
- Good IT knowledge (SQL, Cloud Azure, databases).
- Ability to define and execute the right level of governance and deliver the right level of messages/reporting to different stakeholders.
- Leadership.
- Team spirit.
- Customer orientation.
- Ability to find solutions adapted to complex issues in a demanding environment.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills and the ability to have an impact at all levels of the company. French is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with teams operating across multiple continents.
