This includes oversight of the CommSec product portfolio (Equities, Margin Lending, Cash and Derivatives) and accountability for Product, Risk, Regulatory, Technology and P&L outcomes. We manage, develop and implement product features, services and systems across the customer lifecycle to help deliver our purpose.As Executive Product Owner you will report to the Crew Lead P&I and lead the Equities & Portfolio Value Management squad. This is a multi-disciplinary squad consisting of product, analytics, risk, and technology professionals. The squad is responsible for the flagship CommSec Share Trading product, including pricing & portfolio optimisation, risk & controls, complaint management, issue and incident management and other day-to-day product management tasks. This role is also accountable for developing the Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy and roadmap for CommSec’s products in conjunction with the Crew Lead P&I, Crew Tech Lead P&I, and other POs. Additionally, the squad provides ongoing product analytics support to the broader P&I Crew, key stakeholders (distribution, finance, risk) and the CommSec Leadership Team.Do work that mattersSet and implement the strategic direction for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) product roadmapStay abreast of external market trends, regulations, and innovations to deliver a market-leading propositionLead and develop a multi-disciplinary squad, fostering a psychologically safe, inclusive, and high-performance cultureDefine and deliver the CommSec share trading product roadmap, vision, and KPIs, and manage the squad’s performanceRelease and iterate on products that meet customer needs and achieve business goalsGuide delivery team members and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of strategic initiativesOwn the end-to-end product risk and control environment, including governance, issue identification, escalation, remediation, and regulatory responsesCollaborate with stakeholders and partners to plan promotional efforts for product launches and growthMonitor outcomes to ensure they align with strategic intentWe’re interested in hearing from people who have:Advanced commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilityAdvanced stakeholder management and influencing skillsAdvanced problem-solving capabilityStrong product management / delivery experienceDomain knowledge in investing (highly desirable)Previous experience in AIRisk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.If you’re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you’ll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
