Job description: Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development and scaling of rent payments infrastructure, prioritizing innovation, efficiency, and security.
• Drive the growth and optimization of the Rent Now Pay Later (RNPL) business unit.
• Design and implement payment flows, integrations, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and execute risk management strategies for tenant screening and payment operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Operations, to ensure payment solutions align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with payment partners, processors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Analyze payment data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of experience in building and managing payment systems, ideally within fintech, proptech, or related industries.
• Proven track record of developing payment infrastructure for a payment gateway, investment platform, or BNPL provider.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payment processing, financial technologies, and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with card payments, bank-to-bank (A2A) payment systems, and other relevant payment methods.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex financial ecosystems.
• Strategic leadership capabilities, with a focus on team mentorship and professional development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
