We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Contractor to join our client’s team in Vancouver. This is a contract role ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement capacity. If you have a keen eye for detail, possess strong Excel skills, and have some IT knowledge, we want to hear from you!What you will be doing:Manage procurement activities and support the team in the purchasing process.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization.Review and manage the contracting and legal review process to ensure compliance with company policies.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and provide solutions.What you must have:2-3 years of experience in a Buyer/Procurement capacity.Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.Some IT knowledge is beneficial.Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Familiarity with the contracting and legal review process.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
