Job description: We are looking for a proactive procurement specialist with expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation to drive cost-efficiency and ensure reliable supply. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage procurement processes from planning through delivery, collaborating across departments to meet company goals and operational needs. Responsibilities: Create and execute procurement plans aligned with company goals and budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms. Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships for continuous improvement. Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery. Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking. Coordinate with internal teams to assess and forecast inventory needs. Reconcile inventory records regularly and manage the disposal or sale of obsolete stock. Collaborate with auditors to facilitate procurement audits and address any findings. Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation. Prepare and present procurement reports to management. Work with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational requirements. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in procurement or related fields, with effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable supplier terms. Proficient in data analysis and resolving procurement challenges strategically. Solid understanding of financial principles, ensuring accurate records and budget management. Experienced in supplier management and knowledgeable about procurement regulations. Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks, including event coordination, in a dynamic environment.
