Job description: Job Requirement:Spare Parts and Inventory Management

  • Analyze spare parts usage and identify slow-moving parts.
  • Perform inventory planning and create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Stock parts according to truck install base, new truck series, and technical issues.
  • Ensure inventory levels align with business plans and market strategies.
  • Analyze consumption trends to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage sundry purchases (lubricants, gloves, paints) and local repair vendors.

Cost Reduction and Efficiency:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to reduce operating costs.
  • Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of parts.

Customer and Workshop Coordination:

  • Handle internal and external customer inquiries related to parts, attachments, and accessories.
  • Provide detailed information on specifications, prices, delivery lead times, and freight charges.
  • Work closely with the customer service to ensure cannibalized parts are ordered and replaced.

Order and Shipment Management:

  • Responsible for ordering parts, attachments, and accessories.
  • Follow up on orders to ensure timely processing and delivery.
  • Track the status of shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Manage all aspects of shipment handling, including quotations, invoices, and customs clearance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize regional data analysis to predict inventory needs based on truck usage.
  • Create pre-order lists to ensure parts are received before inventory is depleted.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for inventory management improvements.

Ad Hoc Projects and Activities:

  • Participate in projects related to aftersales operations.
  • Follow up on credit/debit notes for dealer orders.
  • Scan service orders to CRM and close service orders in SAP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory planning or logistics.
  • Good understanding of industry best practices in inventory planning and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
