Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityAs a Procurement Business Partner, you’ll be the strategic lead for procurement across our Infrastructure Asset Management function. You’ll work across the full procurement lifecycle, to develop and implement commercial, procurement and supply chain strategies that support business goals and deliver value for money.You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Transport Services business group to understand their business challenges and objectives and lead the development and delivery of commercial strategies which support the achievement of their strategic goals and deliver value of money outcomes for NZTA in an effective and efficient way. You will develop and plan their procurement activity in collaboration with the Procurement Delivery team and other teams within the Procurement team as necessary.You will find out more about the role .We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $190,000 – $250,000 commensurate to skills and experience.Ko koe tēnei | About youOur ideally candidate will have some or all of the following –
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.Mō mātou |About UsThe Procurement function at NZTA is responsible for planning, sourcing, and managing the supply of external resources to NZTA. Procurement is an essential part of how NZTA delivers our critical business functions to support Te Kāpehu, our strategic direction. Many functions of NZTA are performed, in full or part, using external suppliers and we are one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest public sector procuring agencies.
