Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements using WCM practices to enhance efficiency, standardize operations, and reduce waste, aligning with strategic objectives.
2. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaboratively design and implement process improvements while ensuring alignment with supply chain and WCM goals.
3. Continuous Improvement & Education: Lead Kaizen, Lean, or WCM events, educate and support teams to transition to new processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Tracking & Reporting Performance: Establish KPIs to track the success of process improvements, conduct audits, and use root cause analysis to address issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, share best practices, and contribute to a Zero Harm environment while adhering to WHSE standards.This position is full time, permanent contract.What you bring to the role

  • Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in engineering plus ideally experience in production or maintenance.
  • Lean & Continuous Improvement: Proficient in Lean principles, including 5S or other operational improvement methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex processes, identify root causes and recommend effective solutions using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Adaptability: Able to adapt to evolving project needs and process changes using a continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to learn new techniques and methods.
  • Collaboration & Influencing outcomes: Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to influence and embed process change.
  • Advanced Manufacturing Systems Knowledge: Knowledgeable of manufacturing systems such as Total Productive Maintenance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
