You will support IT teams in optimising processes, eliminating obstacles, identifying opportunities to enhance service performance, and critically service catalogue management. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of IT service delivery and process improvement within SSE.– Crucial in fine-tuning and evolving the service catalogue process and tooling to ensure it precisely reflects the services offered and aligns well with changing business needs.– Working closely with IT teams and service owners to improve the service catalogue, making it an essential resource for service delivery and continual service improvement efforts.– Leading continuous updates and accuracy of the service catalogue, ensuring it serves as a key tool for both service delivery and ongoing enhancement initiatives.– Establishing and managing the service portfolio processes, along with a clear plan for service improvement.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:– Experience in service management, especially in service improvement with a solid understanding of IT frameworks like ITIL/COBIT and tools like ServiceNow.– Extensive experience in Continuous Service Improvement, focusing on the Service Catalogue and Service Portfolio improvement initiatives.– Capable of tracking progress against targets and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.– Skilled at supporting and maintaining the service catalogue’s accuracy and improvement to meet the business and IT needs.About our BusinessSSE IT underpins the technology needs of all the different businesses that make up the SSE group.
