Job description: Join us as a Private Financing Sales Analyst
- As part of a UK Private Financing Sales team, your focus is to support originators in private lending and bilateral financing transactions via deployment of NWM Balance Sheet.
- The team works closely with the Private Financing product teams to deliver a tailored financing solution for Funds clients across Fund Financing, Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Repo and Risk Transformation and Specialty Lending.
- The UK Private Financing Sales team also assists NWM clients and NatWest Bank with portfolio and balance sheet optimisation across all legacy and newly-originated assets, liquidity management and funding, structuring and placement.
What you’ll doIn your new role, you’ll be working closely with our partners in Product, Trading and Portfolio Management to deliver long-term sustainable value and positive customer outcomes. You’ll be assisting with the implementation of strategies across multiple dimensions, including customer offerings, cultural shift, revenue targets, cost management and balance sheets.In addition, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting with the go forward strategic and purpose-led coverage model
- Meeting financial objectives, revenue and costs as defined in your performance objectives
- Targeting a sustainable and robust business profit and loss stream and risk profiles
- Supporting senior Sales who serve as the primary face of the PF franchise to large global Funds, facilitating communication and relationships to foster business development.
The skills you’ll needTo be successful in this role, you’ll need a background in financial markets. Ideally, you’ll have an understanding of structured products, asset classes or other relevant product areas, but this isn’t essential.Furthermore, you’ll need:
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Finance related role
