Job description: This role as a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager / Manager requires working alongside the Senior Manager a diligent and knowledgeable individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all tax-related matters are handled effectively.

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio and ensuring all tax matters are handled effectively.
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of tax assistants and junior managers.
  • Keeping abreast with current tax legislation and advising clients accordingly.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and computations.
  • Liaising with HMRC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
  • Assisting with tax planning and advising clients on effective tax strategies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Participating in business development initiatives within the tax department.

Tax Advisory and Business Development Role Leading London and Hertfordshire based Mid-tier practice (Central London)A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager / Manager should have:

  • A degree in a finance-related field.
  • Professional qualification in tax such as ATT, CTA, or equivalent.
  • A comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • A track record in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
