Job description: Job Description :The Principal – Secondary International Stream is one of FIS’ 4 Principals reporting to the Head of School. With the support of 2 Vice- Principals, the Principal – Secondary International Stream is in charge of quality of teaching and learning within the Secondary – International Stream, ensuring the breadth and balance of every student’s studies, the monitoring of admissions, curriculum planning and development, and the monitoring of both the academic and pastoral areas of the Secondary school.As key member of the school Senior Leadership Team, the Principal – Secondary International Stream is expected to take a leading role in whole school developments and to fully support FIS’ Strategy.This position is to lead and manage FIS’ Secondary – International Stream: 2 Vice-Principals, administrative teams, Coordinators/Leaders of learning, 500 students, 46 teachers.​Responsibilities:· Leadership: supporting FIS strategy, developing the values and aims of the school.· Curriculum leadership: overseeing the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners, providing a broad and balanced curriculum in line with FIS’ needs.· Teaching & learning: maintaining high expectations for all teachers and students, coordinating the effective delivery of the teaching in Secondary.· Professional development and deployment of staff: leading the Secondary IS team by overseeing the responsibilities and duties, conducting regular meetings to create a collaborative working environment, being involved in the recruitment process.· Implementation and review of performance evaluation and professional growth process in line with school policy.· Ensure smooth operations for the division.· Community: fostering FIS’ sense of community. Participating in school community events and social activities.
