Job description: Job Description:Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the worldWood is recruiting for a Lead Process Designer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible:

  • Lead a team of senior & process designers to develop Process Engineering Drawings and Documents in close coordination with Projects Process Leads (Lead Process Engineers).
  • Manage the development of Process/Utility Flow Schemes, Process/Utility Engineering Flow Schemes, and Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes in support of Medium and/or Mega Projects

Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.Responsibilities:The Lead Process Designer will be responsible:

  • Manage team work assignments, work load, work forecasting for assigned projects.
  • Ensure team members accountabilities in the assigned project are clear and the team works well together.
  • Ensure team members in the assigned project learn from each other and from external sources.
  • Maintain standard drawing templates.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
  • Maintain and monitor drawing development progress.
  • Ensure all team members time write.
  • Identify and implement process improvement to reduce cycle time & cost.
  • Implement, practice, and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements

  • Minimum ITI or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years experience in upstream and downstream oil & gas Process Design.
  • Minimum 5 years in FEED/Engineering experience with AutoCAD/PDMS/AVEVA
  • Good communicator and good inter-personal/leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing small team.
  • Fluent in English; Written and Spoken.
