Drawing on your investigative and analytical experience, you will play a vital role in undertaking complex investigations, evaluating evidence-based findings, and making appropriate recommendations.Your ability to undertake research and evaluation of complex issues using initiative to identify appropriate and lawful lines of inquiry, and your experience in applying a range of investigative methodologies will be key to your success in this role.You will bring to the role your expertise in preparing high quality investigation reports, briefing notes, warrants, and legal documents, and your ability to coach and guide others to support continuous improvement and build capability in the team.Please refer to the Job Description Form (JDF) attached for further information regarding the position, including any specific requirements, capabilities and pre-employment checks which will be assessed as part of the selection process.While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.Further informationPlease contact Paul Medlock, General Manager Investigations on (08) 6552 7814 or via [email protected] or visit . - Demonstrated experience in conducting complex investigations using a range of methodologies including interviewing, critical analysis, case management, evidence gathering and brief preparation.
- Demonstrated experience producing high level investigative written material.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills and ability to maintain productive working relationships.
