This role involves developing and implementing asset management strategies and plans to ensure the optimal performance, sustainability, and resilience of the transport network aligned to business objectives.To work collaboratively with AT’s asset planning team and wider asset management functions to lead the production of the 10 & 30-year investment plan’s for transportation infrastructure.Key Tasks include:

• Developing, updating asset management plan’s and artefacts in conjunction with the wider asset management team.
• Work with other business units to support the preparation of funding request programmes (RLTP)
• Analyse asset data to identify performance trends and forecast asset need into the future.
• Identify and lead activities to incorporate best practice activities into the AT asset management discipline.
• Identifying and leading development opportunities to improve ATs Asset Management maturity.
• Provide AM/ FM planning and engineering subject matter advice and expertise.
• Train, teach and mentor staff in asset management practice
• Participate in transport sector workgroups as primary AT asset management representative

• Ko koe tēnei | About you

• Degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, OR
• Degree in Business (economics), Finance or Information Technology related degree
• Minimum 15 years asset management experience (preferably including some Local Government experience)
• Minimum five years analysis and reporting of complex AM/ FM data
• Extensive knowledge of the IIMM and ISO5500x
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (Power BI)
