These documents will inform decision making at the highest levels of government, including the Health NZ Board, Ministers, and Cabinet. You’ll be responsible for analysing complex challenges and opportunities, and presenting clear, well supported recommendations that drive multi million dollar investment decisions.In addition to your strategic advisory responsibilities, you’ll provide leadership and coaching to both internal team members and regional staff, supporting the development of smaller scale investment proposals.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe IIG team focus on delivering high-impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand’s health system. Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, they understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.About youYou’re a strategic thinker and a natural leader, with the ability to guide and coach both team members and regional staff. You bring a strong analytical mindset and can develop well evidenced business cases that support high level investment decisions across Health NZ, including at Board, Ministerial, and Cabinet levels.You thrive in complex environments and are confident making decisions even when the full picture isn’t available. You have the ability to break down large, ambiguous problems and identify practical solutions. You’re also skilled at identifying risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.Your communication style is clear and adaptable, enabling you to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.You will bring:
