Job description: Primary Learning Support (Intervention) TeacherBelmont Christian College invites applications from suitably qualified Primary Learning Support (Intervention) Teacher in Student Learning Support team for a full-time position. While a full time position is preferred, we are open to have a discussion for part-time as well to explore the possibility of a job share, as feasible.The Primary Learning Support (Intervention) Teacher is a full-time position which plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Primary teachers, students, parents and the Learning Support team to create an inclusive environment that enhances individualised student learning, engagement, and wellbeing as per the students’ needs.The successful applicant should:● Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their local church● Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learningOverview of the role:● Act as the Primary teacher liaison, under the guidance of Head of Student Learning and Support to provide individualised interventions for students. ● Guide teachers and provide support in developing curriculum for the learning interventions to support students with marginal needs.● Provide advice to Primary school teachers in managing student behavior of students with disability or with marginal needs.● Guide Primary teachers and assist in record-keeping and documentation related to student learning progress and outcomes.● Ensure compliance with school policies and child safety regulations. -Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in learning support (desirable) (OR)-Experience in special education in students with disability, in an education or school set up (OR)-Experience in working with students in a learning support or teaching assistant role or experience in Special education.
Communication and interpersonal skills-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, Primary teachers, and parents.

i. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in learning support (OR)ii. Experience in special education in students with disability, in an education or school set up (OR)iii.
