As a full-time team member, you’ll be joining a passionate group of professionals committed to creating unforgettable guest experiences while growing your career with one of the most respected names in the industry.Job DescriptionReporting to Director of Finance, you will be a highly organised Purchasing Manager with a drive for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods for our organisation.Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savings
  • Analyse pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the Precinct to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
  • Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Qualifications

  • ​​​​Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems (Purchase Plus preferred)
  • Forkilit Licence
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
