The Postdoctoral Associate will lead and contribute to projects involving ML algorithm development, multi-modal data processing, and AI systems for healthcare, robotics, or human-computer interaction. • Design and implement ML models for vision, speech, physiological signals, and human-centric applications
• Develop systems that enhance human-AI collaboration, particularly in healthcare, education, neuro-robotics, and assistive tech
• Integrate multi-modal data into robust AI frameworks
• Contribute to research publications in top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, CHI, CVPR
• Participate in user-centric design, usability studies, and collaborative AI interface development
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to cross-lab knowledge sharing
• Support interdisciplinary AI initiatives in fields like scientific discovery, finance, or complex team workflows

Job Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Strong foundation in machine learning and experience with deep learning or reinforcement learning
• Hands-on expertise in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Prior research on human-centered ML, physiological signal processing (e.g., EEG, ECG, EMG), or assistive robotics preferred
• Strong publication record in relevant top-tier conferences
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills
• Public code contributions (e.g., GitHub) are a plus
