DTU Compute are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join a cross-disciplinary project focused on the development of a rapid, cost-effective, and robust structural health monitoring system for offshore energy infrastructures. The project, which is funded by the Villum Foundation, addresses the challenges posed by the hostile environments and remoteness of offshore structures, where current health assessment schemes are limited in scope and effectiveness. By combining physics-based models, machine learning techniques, and vibration sensor data, the successful candidate will contribute to pioneering solutions that minimize costs and data requirements while ensuring reliable health assessment across clusters of offshore structures.You should have experience in machine learning, data-driven modeling, and/or optimization to help develop cutting-edge solutions that reduce costs and data requirements while ensuring reliable health assessments across clusters of structures. You will collaborate with experts in structural health monitoring, computational techniques, and optimization.As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).We offer
