The successful candidate will focus on experimental investigations of semiconductor nanocavities aimed at enhancing light-matter interaction at the nanoscale. The research takes place within the Center of Excellence – Center for Nanophotonics, which explores a new generation of semiconductor nanocavities. The research will contribute to the development of next-generation nanolasers and nonlinear devices. Key experimental techniques include short-pulse pump-probe measurements and advanced optical characterization methods. In addition to conducting optical experiments, the position allows you to explore novel nanophotonic device designs and participate in the fabrication process at DTU’s state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities.The position gives you the opportunity to work on high-impact research with applications in quantum technologies and integrated photonics and join a dynamic research center with access to cutting-edge laboratory and cleanroom facilities,Qualifications
