Job description: Planning & Performance Specialist
Our client, a leading automotive financial services provider, is seeking a Planning & Performance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing and developing the commercial relationship between the company and its brand partners in Ireland.Reporting to the Brand & Planning Manager, the Planning & Performance Specialist will play a key role in monitoring and steering commercial performance. The role involves providing reporting and analysis to drive business success, supporting commercial planning processes, and preparing future sales forecasts. It requires close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders across various departments.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales reporting and analysis across business streams, products, and brands.
  • Deliver performance reporting and market analysis to identify trends, insights, and commercial opportunities.
  • Measure, monitor, and evaluate sales performance against targets.
  • Support commercial sales steering by gathering and analyzing market intelligence, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Prepare commercial planning requirements, including monthly sales forecasts and long-term planning projections.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services or a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to present data in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into key business insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
