Being in one of the best spots in the country, you will enjoy the amazing warm weather, close to brilliant beaches, and still only an hour away from the super city!The Position:As a Planning Manager you will be responsible for leading the planning division and providing high quality planning services to the local clients. Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will need to be a technical leader amongst the rest of the organisation.You will be responsible for reviewing the work done by the other members of the team as well leading a lot of the engagement with stakeholders. Not only does this position have a technical focus, but there is also an operational side with helping in the decision making and strategic planning.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with extensive experience in Resource Consents Planning, particularly with a focus in Land Development. We are also looking for a strong leader who can inspire their team and has the ambition to help and mentor others. The successful candidate will also need to have:

• A degree recognised by NZPI or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in RMA Planning, with a focus on Plan Changes.
• Experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the RMA 1991.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
