Matrix Recruitment is seeking to recruit an Planning Manager for our client (a leading renewable energy company driving sustainable infrastructure projects & environmental innovation across Ireland), based in the Kildare region.This is a permanent role./offering hybrid working.You will oversee the planning & execution of large renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance & effective stakeholder communication.Your new jobKey duties & responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Manage and submit planning applications for renewable energy projects.

Partner Coordination: Oversee joint venture relationships and contracts.Project Management: Monitor budgets, assess risks, and keep projects on track.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with local communities and authorities.Evaluate Opportunities: Assess feasibility of potential projects.Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure H&S standards.What are we looking for?

• Education: A degree in engineering, environmental science, or planning; a postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Experience: 7 + years in project management, with 3-5 years in a senior role, especially in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Must have experience with Environmental Impact Assessments in the Pre-planning stage of a Project.
