Physical Security Engineers act in two primary functions: technical support, and professional services. They are primarily responsible for managing daily support operations, troubleshooting,preventative maintenance, and project tasks associated with Equinix physical security.Physical Security Engineers receive support requests from Equinix through various channels, including phone calls, emails, internal ticketing systems, and chat messages. Support requests are submitted by internal and external customers. The Physical Security Engineers are required to log all requests thorough tracking and auditing. Physical Security Engineers have direct access to all access control and video management machines globally, allowing for immediate troubleshooting of issues.
