Job description: General Function Physical Security Manager & Compliance is responsible for ensuring the safety & security of the people and company property. Oversee all aspects of Physical Security including but not limited to: Developing & reviewing policies and procedures related to access control systems, alarm systems, surveillance equipment, intrusion detection systems. Ensuring that Physical Security Policies & Procedures are properly, consistently & religiously implemented across all security posts. Managing the security operations 24/7 without prejudice to his authority to delegate to accomplish the task. Conduct physical security risk / threat & vulnerability assessment evaluate and provide recommendations. Ensuring that all security equipment are regularly inspected and audited and that immediate rectification among the findings are done to ensure that security system are 24/7 operational. Coordinating, communicating & calibrating with different stakeholders relative to physical security department’s projects and issues. Managing Transportation and Executive Protection. Leading the security team in the conduct of investigations relative to security & safety incidents as well as complaints against any of security personnel. Specific Functions: Reports directly to Regional Physical Security Manager & Compliance. Ensures the completeness of security posts every shift. Reviews the billing provided by the vendor before sending for approval. Conducts Security Awareness Training during New Hire Orientation (NHO). Reviews the daily security system audit submitted by the security team, identify and rectify the issues and concerns. Participates in a project meeting relative to Physical Security, monitors & provides updates, and progress reports. Conducts security audits of company facilities and systems to identify potential risks or weaknesses. Establishes security procedures, such as access control and employee security training programs. Develops and enforces rules regarding employee conduct while on the job. Coordinates with local law enforcement regarding potential threats to company security Conducts physical inspections of facilities to identify security risks and vulnerabilities. Reviews security procedures and makes recommendations for improvement. Develops and implements security plans for the facility, special events that might require additional security measures such as large crowds or high risk of injury occasions. Investigate incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity, and prepare reports. Monitors and accomplishes compliance with security regulations, local legislation and clients’ requirements. Trains and educates employees on security procedures and protocols. Keeps abreast of latest security technologies and trends. Prepares and manages security budgets. Liaises with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders. Leads the team in the conduct of internal and external or clients’ audit. Ensures compliance to PCI DSS, HIPAA & SOC2. Performs other duties and responsibilities inherent to the Physical Security Manager & Compliance and its department. Attends regularly the stakeholders called meeting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in criminology or equivalent. Must have at least 5 years related work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good judgment and problem-solving ability. Computer literate. Excellent attention to detail Diversity awareness, understanding and respect for cultural differences. Strong interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking. Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule. Holder of Certified Security Professional (CSP) Certificate or its equivalent.
