Located near Ipswich, in south east Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 1,500 people.Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. The renowned AMH brand, the award-winning Yardstick, the highly marbled grain fed Pure Prime and our state’s brand, Queenslander Beef and more are all produced at Dinmore.About the role:JBS Dinmore has an opportunity available for a Production Control and Planning (PCP) Scheduling Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant for the position will be highly motivated, experienced and drive a reduction in costs by producing orders on time in line with customer specifications and loading requirements, also through consistent yield reporting and feedback to the Dinmore team.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Ensure efficient and effective Production practices that are aligned to business objectives and values.Ensuring compliance to all legislation, policies and procedures including but not limited to HACCP, AA Program, labelling requirements and production requirements.Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal, external stakeholders and employees.Complete all necessary reporting including internal and external requirements.Supervise the Production Control and Planning team functions on site.Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing and production control systems.Evaluate production control activities to ensure that final product meets customer specifications.Assist packaging unit in coordinating and planning supplier requirements.Plan production control activities to improve runtime while maintaining high quality, timely delivery and cost-effectivenessAbout you:Excellent communication and supervisory skills.Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)Energetic, proactive self-starter, driven attitude.A valid car licensePrevious meat works experience highly valued.Ausmeat Accreditation highly regarded or the ability to obtain.Why work for JBS Australia?Access to heavily discounted JBS meat productsRetail discounts with national partnersHealth insurance discounts with Bupa and Medibank PrivateInterested?
