Your Key Responsibilities:Business Strategy

• Act as a knowledge partner for the global and regional strategy teams.
• Provide daily industry updates to senior management covering competitor moves, regulatory changes, product & market trends and maintain a database of this information.
• Bespoke research for management meetings/ strategy-related discussions including market/industry research, country overviews, product offering deep-dives.
• Competitor benchmarking for market presence/ strategy, product offerings, financial performance.
• Lead the annual industry benchmarking process undertaken in coordination with external consultants and internal finance teams.
• Adhoc projects including evaluating strategic options for business units, tracking inorganic / growth initiatives in the industry, case studies to participate in industry initiatives/ trends.
• Write-ups on released consultant reports, updating league tables and financial modelling for business cases.

Your skills and experience

• 7-8 years prior experience in consultancy/ business management/corporate finance
• MBA from a reputed school / CA (first attempt or rank holder)
• Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint with experience in creating presentations / pitch books
• Sound knowledge of MS Excel required; macros/ programing for automation tasks would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Retail Banking / Wealth Management business preferable but not essential
• A self-starter with strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
