Job description: Review and verify timesheets, wages, commissions, and deductions to ensure accuracy.Utilize Excel Pivot Tables to summarize payroll data, trends, and variances.Use VLOOKUP and other Excel functions to match employee data, validate payroll inputs, and reconcile discrepancies.Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across systems.Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and finance teams.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Assist with payroll audits and year-end tax filings (W-2, 1099, etc.).Collaborate with HR and accounting departments on benefits deductions, new hires, terminations, and leave tracking.
