Our team operates in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with fixed deadlines and high transaction volumes. This provides a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact while continuously developing expertise.As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide subject matter expertise in payroll across one or more platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting internal teams, clients, and projects while driving best practice in payroll operations.To do this role well you will need:

• Previously worked in a payroll service delivery department
• Knowledge of current statutory payroll guidelines and best practice
• Ability to accurately calculate gross to net calculations manually, including overpayment calculations
• Able to translate complex payroll information to a non-payroll audience
• Able to interpret and present complex data in a range of formats to multiple audience types
• Fantastic attention to detail, motivated by producing high quality work
• A proactive and problem-solving approach with examples of successful outcomes
• Experience of handling challenging conversations/complaints

UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK at application stage.Working patternYou can work with us on a full time or part time basis with flexible start and finish times to meet our business needs, the core working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. We operate a Hybrid Working Policy which is currently a minimum of 20% working from the office.In return for your skills and experience, we offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
