Our team operates in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with fixed deadlines and high transaction volumes. This provides a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact while continuously developing expertise.As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide subject matter expertise in payroll across one or more platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting internal teams, clients, and projects while driving best practice in payroll operations.To do this role well you will need:

  • Previously worked in a payroll service delivery department
  • Knowledge of current statutory payroll guidelines and best practice
  • Ability to accurately calculate gross to net calculations manually, including overpayment calculations
  • Able to translate complex payroll information to a non-payroll audience
  • Able to interpret and present complex data in a range of formats to multiple audience types
  • Fantastic attention to detail, motivated by producing high quality work
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach with examples of successful outcomes
  • Experience of handling challenging conversations/complaints

UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK at application stage.Working patternYou can work with us on a full time or part time basis with flexible start and finish times to meet our business needs, the core working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. We operate a Hybrid Working Policy which is currently a minimum of 20% working from the office.In return for your skills and experience, we offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Eligibility and the degree of home working will vary depending on the requirements of the role, further details will be discussed if an offer is made.Benefits
