The RoleThis Payroll Officer role is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key duties include:

• Payroll
• Reviewing and processing fortnightly payroll
• Verifying and proofing timesheets before processing in Xero
• Ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, tax, and superannuation
• Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
• Generating reports for management

Your BackgroundTo be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience in payroll processing, with exposure to Xero preferred
• The ability to work independently and accurately in a small team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A preference for working in-office five days per week in Sydney’s North
