About the CompanyThe team at Sharp & Carter have multiple Payroll positions with varying clients at different levels. We have a range of fantastic opportunities if you’re looking for a new challenge. These positions will suit motivated Payroll Officers with a minimum 2 years experience who are excited to take the next step in their career.The Role

• Accurate and timely processing of a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll for employees
• Processing of new starter and position change paperwork
• Calculation of termination payments
• Provide assistance and resolution payroll queries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner
• Preparation and lodgement of PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
• Ensuring that all payroll components are costed to the relevant general ledger accounts and reconciled

The Ideal CandidateOur client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:

• A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
• 2 years+ experience in a similar Payroll Officer role would be highly desirable
• Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
