This role will be responsible for supporting the processing by assisting with payroll processing, handling client and employee queries, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and procedures. This role involves coordinating payrolls, managing client relationships, generating reports, and identifying areas for process improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Preparation and coordination of payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Handle queries from agency workers and clients to maintain strong business relationships.
- Assist in the integration of new payrolls arising from acquisitions.
- Conduct data audits and ensure compliance with internal payroll systems and procedures.
- Ensure the correct processing of payroll deduction payments and tax/social insurance uploads.
Client Management:
- Identify opportunities for business development and growth with existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring continued business growth.
Information & Performance Management:
- Produce weekly and monthly reports to monitor performance against targets.
- Evaluate activity sheets and identify areas for improvement in business processes.
Planning & Self-Management:
- Proactively review payroll procedures with the team for continuous improvement.
- Achieve agreed activity and financial targets while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Administration:
- Complete all documentation and administration to the required standard.
- Follow all finance procedures to ensure proper book-keeping and secure handling of payments.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Professional qualifications in Payroll or equivalent work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the payroll process.
Skills:
- Excellent understanding of payroll procedures and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized payroll systems.
- Ability to inspire a team and make effective decisions based on data.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in payroll or a similar role.
