RoleRole & ResponsibilitiesYou will be the key player in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations. You’ll manage a variety of payroll-related tasks, collaborate with finance teams, and provide excellent support to the company’s employees.Main tasks include

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage all statutory compliance related to payroll.
  • Calculate and process full and final settlements for departing employees.
  • Calculate and process salary increments and bonuses.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and provide salary journal vouchers as required by the finance department.
  • Manage income tax declarations and withholding tax calculations.
  • Process CTC reimbursements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll for a significant number of employees.
  • Expert knowledge of Japanese payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll software (specific systems to be discussed during the interview).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Japanese and Business level English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, HR).
