We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global provider of engineering consulting services to find a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their team in Dublin.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the seamless management of payroll, while ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles.
- Calculate and process deductions such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related issues.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Assist with year-end payroll processing, including issuing W-2s and other required tax forms.
- Process payroll using Payday software.
- Act as a Project Analyst (part-time), assisting with the use of Oracle ERP, reviewing project agreements, updating financials in One ERP, and supporting supplier invoice processing.
- General office admin duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Payday) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Excellent time-management abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
