Or as we say it, Make Simple.We will delight our customers – making the customer experience simpler, more enjoyable, more intelligent – treating customers fairly and giving them more control of their money.Why join us?This is a chance to make a real impact in a growing business on a mission to change the face of the consumer finance industry forever.About The RoleWe are looking for a Payments Analyst to join our Finance Operations team to assist with the investigation and monitoring of customer payments across our credit card portfolios.This role will have responsibility for managing large volumes of information and keeping track of varying numbers of requests. The role will take ownership of continually improving processes and identifying trends and patterns to inform on variances.Key responsibilities:

• Analyse, investigate and resolve payment rejects within SLA.
• Analyse, investigate and resolve missing payment queries within SLA.
• Liaise with our customer service team, Fraud/AML and finance to ensure all queries have a satisfactory conclusion for our customers.
• Online inbound & outbound payment specific ‘chat’ to assist customers and rectify payments queries.
• Work proactively beyond the process/procedure to identify errors/omissions in customer payments, which require further investigation.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve the payments operations processes via excel macro and other automations
• Understanding daily payment trends and patterns in order to escalate and prevent future losses

About You

• We’re looking for an autonomous, proactive and self-dependent analyst who has a resourceful, creative and inquisitive approach to highly complex tasks. The successful candidate will be a keen researcher who is numerate and has a sharp eye for detail, with a proven track record of flawlessly liaising complex rules to other areas of the business & third parties.
• The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and meet the following criteria:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Comfortable working remotely
• Excellent & proficient knowledge of Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Organisation skills
• 2 + Years Administration experience
• Ability to solve problems autonomously
• A track record of development and learning within a fast-paced environment

Desired:

• Experience in Financial Services, especially Credit Card Lending, would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
