A well-known foreign bank is looking for a checker for their payment team. Candidates with 7+ years of experience in corporate payment/remittance processing and project experience is highly preferred. Fluency in both Chinese and English is required for this role.

• Authorise SWIFT, RTGS, fax communications, and correspondences via payment system
• Supervise and allocate all incoming documents, mail, fax, telex, RTGS, and SWIFT communications
• Approve and release payments done by makers
• Report any irregularities or customer performance issues
• Maintain and update RTGS and telecommunications devices
• Occasionally support treasury settlement team with trade processing
• Oversee account payments and fund transfers
• Support any project tasks, regulatory changes or system enhancement projects, UAT testing

skills & experiences required

• Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines
• At least 7 years of experience in payment or remittance within corporate/investment banking
• Experience as a checker and handling project is highly preferred
• Detail-oriented and maintains a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
