Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleAs the Patient Safety, Quality Improvement & Risk Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of Te Tai Tokerau’s Annual Quality, Safety & Risk Plan, that aligns with local, regional and national strategy in collaboration with the CMO. You will support a culture of quality improvement by supporting training of quality champions and undertake all operational functions associated with managing staff in the Patient Safety & Quality Improvement & Risk Directorates. This role will see you work closely with other Te Whatu ora hospitals, Health Quality & Safety Commission (HQSC) and senior managers, whilst managing the organisation wide internal audit process, identifying areas to drive quality improvement.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Directorate (PSQID) has organisational oversight and works with services to identify risks and guide quality improvements to improve patient safety.
