Job description: Have you ever been to a recycling station and thought, “Why are we throwing so much stuff away?”Especially when it comes to electronics — they take massive resources to produce, yet often end up in the trash even when they still work. Businesses throw out fully functioning equipment simply because there’s no easy alternative.At Nordic Reclaim, we’re here to change that.We’re starting with biotech equipment — clearing out labs and companies that no longer need their machines and making sure they find a new home instead of the landfill.Now, we’re looking for someone to help us build partnerships and source used equipment.You’ll be reaching out to:Biotech labs at private companies and universitiesEquipment vendors and service providersRecycling centers and refurbishersYour mission: make sure they think of us before they throw anything out.You’ll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, figuring out who’s in charge, and building friendly relationships. You won’t be afraid of getting a “no” and will keep going until you get a “yes.”What we’re looking for:A natural networker who enjoys talking to new peopleCreative thinking and persistence when it comes to finding leadsComfortable making calls and asking questions to get through to the right personStrong communication skills (Danish and/or English)A passion for sustainability and reducing waste is a big plusThe role:Flexible, part-time (great for students)You manage your own time and working hoursWork remotely or from our office in Allerød — whatever suits you bestPay at student levelPotential for equity if things go wellIf you’re looking to be part of something meaningful from the early stages — and you like the idea of saving valuable equipment from the scrap heap — we’d love to hear from you!
