About the roleWe are looking for a law clerk to help the Canadian legal team with various tasks—some one-off, and some repeating.What you’ll do○ Triaging contract requests (SMB primarily); managing CLM queue and assessing priorities
○ Managing expiring agreements (notify business if new agreements are needed vs some will auto renew)
○ Reviewing some CRM ads (simple ones on Eats that can take standard disclaimer language)
○ Corporate governance filings
○ Responding to governmental requests, including data requests, surveys, and garnishments
○ Signature management
○ Small Claims work: compiling, serving, and filing documents
○ Helping to open files/managing retainer letters
○ Maintaining a log of litigation file statuses
○ Processing infractions (manage paperwork, insuring pleas are filed on time, sharing documents with outside counsel)
○ Tax profile compliance – coordinating sending communications to drivers and project managing tax profile completion rateBasic Qualifications
● 4 years’ similar experiencePreferred Qualifications
● Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred
