Job description: About this Position The Packaging Manager plays a critical role in driving innovation and efficiency in packaging development. This position is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of new packaging solutions that align with Henkel’s sustainability goals, regulatory requirements, and corporate standards. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to enhance packaging performance, optimize costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.What you´ll do

• Execute new packaging development projects, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Define and manage budgets to support packaging initiatives and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with Henkel’s SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards, policies, and procedures.
• Drive the achievement of circular economy targets by integrating sustainable packaging solutions.
• Develop and implement processes that support cross-functional teams in executing new technologies and innovations.
• Ensure all new packaging solutions comply with international recycling, health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Safeguard packaging innovations through patent protection and intellectual property strategies.
• Engage with consumers to gather insights and enhance packaging usability, appeal, and functionality.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in packaging development, preferably in FMCG, Beauty, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability trends.
• Familiarity with global packaging regulations and recycling standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
