Job description: Position Description:CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Vendor Technical Lead. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project focused on Agile application development at civilian agencies.The Vendor Technical Lead will play a key role in enhancing the cyber security posture of numerous government agencies by implementing, administering, and maintaining Cloud Native Application Protection and/or Cloud Security Posture Management tools in a cloud hosted shared service platform to protect agency networks and data. This role involves working closely with Agency teams to ensure robust security measures are in place and effectively managed.Your future duties and responsibilities:-Demonstrated experience delivering agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:-Bachelors Degree.
-AWS certified architect with minimum of 5 years hands on experience in developing and enhancing technical architecture using Cloud environment.
-Minimum of 10 years experience in agile software development to include Microservices architecture using open source Java technology.
-Minimum of 5 years experience with designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS.
-Formal training such as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science preferred
-Minimum of 5 years experience developing and deploying microservices in a cloud environment preferred.
-Minimum of 3 years experience in DevOps and CI/CD concept using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools such SonarQube, JMeter.Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
-Strong working knowledge of the technical environment of one or more SAM.gov domains or FPDS.gov as applicable to the task order scopeCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $141,200.00 – $278,000.00.
