Job description: THE OPPORTUNITYOur client, a privately-owned company excelling in enhancing mining fleet productivity, safety, and reliability, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless sales operations by processing orders and responding to customer expediting requests, supporting effective collaboration between Customer Relationship Managers and the Supply Chain team.The Customer Support Representative is responsible for processing sales orders and handling customer requests related to order expediting. They manage the back-end operations of the sales process and serve as a key link between the Customer Relationship Manager and the Supply Chain team.This hybrid position is based in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. During the probationary period, standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Upon successful completion of probation, the work schedule will transition to either 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, to align with support requirements for counterparts in Perth and the United StatesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve customer issues by identifying and addressing problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Receive, process, and acknowledge customer orders submitted via phone, email, or directly from the Sales Team.
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the system, and save copies of purchase and sales orders to the shared network for record-keeping and cross-team access.
  • Monitor and communicate stock availability and provide accurate updates on order status and delivery timelines.
  • Respond to incoming customer calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional supply chain-related tasks and other duties as assigned by the manager, in line with your skills and level of responsibility.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Proven experience in sales support, order processing, or administrative roles within a logistics, supply chain, or clerical environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with SAP and Ariba systems is desirable but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond professionally to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing workloads autonomously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, order processing, and record-keeping
  • Experience in the mining, earthmoving, or manufacturing industries is advantageous
