Accountable for leading the inspection, maintenance programs, and tools, in sizing the detected corrosion defects, and the implementation of the analytical solutions based on reliability constraints. Ensure the production and financial targets are set and guarantee the operations meet environmental, health and safety requirements.The position will act by the organization’s mission, vision, values, policies, and guidelines, supported by an IT technology platform, HSE standards, Oman government and other legal justifications and best international practices aligned with National objectives.Mandate QHSSE Obligations

  • Establish a framework, and set, and monitor Objectives and KPIs to support HSE Vision.
  • Ensure allocation of resources in compliance with the management system to fulfil HSE Vision.
  • Interact with stakeholders, communicate, and get feedback on the achievements and limitations of HSE Objectives and KPIs.

Mandate Culture ObligationsHolding this role, you will be acting as the ambassador associate to your Team members, leading initiatives, promoting behaviours, making decisions that align with our OQGN cultural principles, and ensuring their growth and their valuable contributions towards our organization’s long-term success.Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Accountable for leading the technical and commercial development, review and improvement of the integrity and reliability, associated with the related manuals, processes, procedures, and schedules, for the satisfaction of executing operational needs and requirements for the organization.
  • Responsible for scope designing associated with bringing planning, strategies, and executing the best practices and approaches. Ensure the alignment of the respective business stakeholders and the adherence to the approved organization’s standards and guidelines while operating and implementing the concepts of the organization’s processing and networking facilities, considering the applied methods, and data used will support and fit the organization’s requirements.
  • Accountable for directing the business operations of gas transportation facilities while maintaining technical integrity in line with QHSSE and business standards and policies. Ensure the production and financial targets are set for the organization and guarantee the operations meet environmental and Health & Safety requirements to ensure full compliance of the gas network operations.
  • Overseeing the provided inspection, reviews, and evaluations of the associated services, programs, scope of work and activities that are aligned with the approved procedures, standards and related specifications. Ensure proposed equipment and tools comply with the HSE policies, organization’s standards, and meet business needs.
  • Overseeing the review and evaluation of organizations’ equipment history and determining the probable mode of failures, frequency of inspection, and type of inspection required, evaluating the critical process equipment, units, threats, and hazards. Ensure providing required analysis and recommended engineering solutions (RCFA).
  • Accountable for the Implementation of the reliability engineering services and support associated with the continuous capital improvements while optimizing lifetime return on investment, mitigating reliability risk, for a sustainable performance.
  • Oversee the execution, scheduling and controlling of all assets to obtain efficiencies of the organization’s equipment, facilities, considering the functionality of the assets, probability of success, duration, and environmental factors.
  • Overseeing the development, and reporting of maintenance related in terms of validation and mismeasurement, establishing the required upgrade and replacement of reliable planning and scheduling systems associated with the related facilities, instrumentation, scope of work, basis design, and preliminary cost estimation, with the consistency of the efforts aimed at ensuring the integrity of pipelines.
  • Responsible for providing expert advice, support, and decision-making, continually evolving the working practices to improve efficiency and productivity, participating in risk management, technical reviews and designs to be capitalized on business opportunities ensuring high occupancy of resources.

Working ConditionsPrimarily office-based, occasional travel, and sporadic visits to the operation site.Education requirementsMaster’s or bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.LanguagePreferable English and Arabic.Experience and background.

  • + 16 years of experience in leading and contributing to cross-functional projects teams, complex projects, and program management, preferably at oil and gas organisations. Experienced in resource control, contract management and general management.
  • Leading Technical Functions related to (Technical Services, Projects, Operations and Maintenance).
  • Handling senior management roles with a proven record of HSSE professionals, budget, and business plans.

Technical Skills:

  • Computer literate with expertise in MS Office.
  • Technical engineering terminology in English & and Arabic languages.
  • HSE, finance, budget, and reporting.
  • Process software (HYSYS/ UNISIM/TGNET/Flare Net etc.) and PI software/DCS/SCADA.
  • Process Safety Management and risk management.
