Job description: Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in cross-functional program and manufacturing readiness forums to ensure project success.
• Ensure adherence to NPI (New Product Introduction) processes to achieve manufacturing KPIs and deliver high-quality results.
• Provide clear and comprehensive status updates and recovery plans to both working teams and executive leadership. Oversee full manufacturing readiness for products, focusing on equipment, materials, and resource planning.
• Drive capital efficiency and lead long-term product cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production teams.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of working experience, at least 5 years in program management, or engineering management, or production operations.
• Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of complex optoelectronics production lines, including manufacturing/industrial engineering principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing validation processes (e.g., validation plans, KPIs).
• In-depth understanding of product cost structure and the influence of key factors.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability, process design, process validation, and assembly methods.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD models.
• Experienced with workplace software, including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong team player, capable of working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with cross-functional teams.
• Communication Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, including senior and executive leadership.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills:

• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Proficient in various problem-solving methodologies.
