Job description: Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Officer to join our client.Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $24.12 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; onsite twice a week after training period
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Hours will depend which time zone
If in EST: 10 AM to 6 PM EST/11 to 7 EST
If in PST: 8 AM to 4PM PST/ 9 to 5 PST
If in MST: 8 AM to 4PM MST/ 9 to 5 MSTJob Responsibilities:

Finalize and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to FINTRAC
Responsible for accurate information documentation
Ensuring each STR passes FINTRAC validation
Queue based
Processes, Procedures and Quality must be adhered to

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

Banking experience – minimum of 1 full year
Eager and willingness to learn and grow
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Managing their own queue
Strong quality of work, strong attention to detail
